The service road to the transmitters on Meall Mor starts from the S side of the Abhainn Strathainn bridge (the track on the N side is blocked with rhododendrons). There are no obstacles to driving all the way and the surface is good (although I walked from a parking area opposite the start). From NR836744 there is a waymarked path heading in the general direction of the hill although it trends SW underneath it so needs to be left to attain the summit.

From the summit it is obvious that there is a shortcut through the forest back to the track at NR839736 by following the line of a fence.
