18C Caol Bheinn (Hump), Beinn Meadhoin, Beinn a' Chaisil and An Sleaghach

From the Estate Office car park I followed the newly upgraded road past the dam being constructed on the Rannoch River heading for Caol Bheinn. The footpath from Leacraithnaich bothy was not obvious on the ground amongst the numerous deer tracks but the going to Caol Bheinn was fairly easy over (sometimes tussocky) grass.

I had not originally intended tackling Beinn Meadhoin on this walk, but it looked quite close from Caol Bheinn so I dropped down the 450' to the Allt Buidhe Mor and made the easy grassy ascent to Beinn Meadhoin. Returning alongside Eas na Fidhle I crossed over a slight col on Caol Bheinn near the line of a fence heading SSW to ascend Beinn a' Chaisil.

The going SSW from Beinn a' Chaisil to An Sleagach is easy, passing Loch nan Clach and lochanan Dubha en route. An Sleagach itself is quite rocky but with plenty of grassy bits. I continued E across the impressive Table of Lorn on easy grass to Glais Bheinn (Hump). Descending NW I picked up a grassy vehicle track which I lost when nearly back and ended up at an unmarked fence above a steep wooded drop. The descent on a path down the E side of the fence was quite steep and loose.
