18B Sgurr Dhomhnuill, Sgurr a' Chaorainn & Beinn na h-Uamha

From the Ariundle hostel turn right and follow the good track to the lead mines. Cross the Allt Feith Dhomhnuill on stepping stones (the footbridge no longer exists) and ascend the ridge (path in parts). Sgurr na h-lghinn can be bypassed on an obvious grassy rake leading to the 682 col before ascending Sgurr Dhomhnuill. It can also be bypassed by skirting round it clockwise to descend to Bealach Main a' Bhearna. Head S then ESE to attain Sgurr a' Chaorainn before dropping down to the 556 col and on to Beinn na h-Uamha.

Retrace your steps back to the col then follow a path which contours below Sgurr a' Chaorainn to the 577 col NW of Sgurr na Laire. Make your way generally W to an unmarked tenuous track on the N bank of the Stontian River which eventually becomes a marked track at the junction with Allt Feith Dhomhnuill. This leads all the way back.
