17E Dun da Ghaoithe
From the Fishnish ferry terminal I walked a short way down the A884 to the forest track shown as a car park on the map. After a couple of junctions this comes out on the A849 and almost opposite the old road keeps to the S of the A849 alongside the forest. This leads to a rugby club ground at Achadh na h-Uamha followed by a bridge over Garmony Burn. It looked feasible to get to the open hillside from here as the forest was cleared. I eventually reached a forest road at NM673396 and turning L met a new road at NM675395.(It would have been easier to get to this point from the A849 at NM679397). I followed the new road to where it crossed Allt Ceann an Droigheannain at NM678391 and followed the burn up to the open hillside at NM678387. After scaling the deer fence it was a mostly grassy ascent to Dun da Ghaoithe.
From the Corbett (my penultimate), I headed generally WNW over Beinn Thunicaraidh, Beinn Meadhon and Beinn Chreagach Mhor, then N and NE to descend to Corrynachench and the A849. Opposite an old road ran parallel to the A849, meeting it again just before a forest road at NM649413 which follows the coast N then ESE back to the ferry.
