16E Ben Stack and Ben Dreavie

From Achfary I followed the forest track to a point S of Ben Stack and, as teh cloud base was low, used the route shown on the track log to the summit (my final Graham). A more direct route could have been taken, also in descent, but from above the ground looked very steep so I retraced my steps back to across the track and Allt Achadh Fairidh to ascend directly to Ben Dreavie in clearing conditions.

I followed the well made track SE from the summit to meet the upgraded vehicle track at Bealach nam Fiann which went to Lochmore Lodge. From there I went over the causeway and stepping stones between Loch More and Loch nan Ealachan and the boggy area on the far side to climb the Hump of Ben Screavie. I came off via the NW ridge to the bridge (and car park) at An Earachd and back to the car along the A838.
