11B Carn a' Chaochain

You can drive to Cougie and park next to the river at NH241210. Follow the forest road SW, keeping an eye out for the cairn at NH239206 which marks the track to the Bealach Feith na Gamhna. From the Bealach, follow the ridge to the 704m trig point and continue to the summit cairn at the 706m spot height.<br />

An alternative ascent (which I followed) is to continue along the forest road to the edge of the remaining forest at about NH232198, then follow the edge to the skyline at NH235153 and then head directly to the trig point.
