1D Beinn Ghlas and 19A Cruach Mhor

From the A819 at NN085140 I crossed the River Aray at NN086143 and made my way through the boggy forest to a line of pylons heading SE. It was soon easy to get to the open fell and the trig on Stuc Scardan, continuing to the Hump of Creag Dhubh from where it was a bee line to Beinn Ghlas. From here I headed WSW to come across an unmarked grassy track at NN102176 which headed NW to the forest fence which I followed down to the road (there is a footbridge across the river).

From the road bridge it was a straighforwards ascent amongst crags to Cruach Mhor. Continuing a short way SSE to easier ground I descended the grassy slopes heading for the track at Stromagachan but it went throught a yard with barking dogs, so instead I followed the line of Allt Thomais which got me to the Old Military Road which went back to the car.

(8 hrs 30 mins, 13 miles, 3850' of ascent)
