1C Beinn Dubh, Beinn Uamha and Cruinn a' Bheinn
I did this round from a small parking area near the S of Loch Dhu. I followed the track to Loch Dhu House and climbed WSW to skirt Mulan an t-Sagairt on its N then headed generally NW to Beinn Dubh. It is more or less a bee line NW to Beinn Uamha following the line of the deer fence for much of the way. Drop down generally S, avoiding the crags, to the only place where the Abhainn Gaoithe can be crossed at NN385060, then head WSW up the ridge to Cruinn a' Bheinn with its views of Loch Lomond. It is not easy to see where the crags are in descent so it is safer to follow the fence line SE then easy slopes E to the corner of the forest and the Abhainn Bheag. There are several unnecessary deer fences to climb on the way to the road at Comer for the long walk along Gleann Dubh to Stronmacnair where a road goes over the hill back to the start.
Undoubtedly a much easier way to tackle these hills would be to bike in to the centre of the triangle of hills near Comer first.
