Beinn na Gainimh and Meall nam Fuaran (Hump)

There is room for a car at Tom Orain just S of Loch Freuchie. I followed the track SW past Croftmill (where there is lots of parking) to Lochan a' Mhuilinn and a bit past it headed SSW to climb the steep slopes of Creag Grianain to reach the cairn shown on the map. I dropped down a couple of hundred feet to the col alongside a new double electric fence which I followed to the plateau of Beinn na Gainimh. Climbing easily over the fence it is due S to the summit.

To make a round I dropped down WNW to Glen Lochan and the ridge above Creag Lamhain then N up the ridge to the peat hags surrounding Meall nam Fuaran's summit. It is easier going continuing ENE to reach the vehicle track which meets the outgoing track. Keep an eye out for the Cadogan Square sign at NN850369.
