The Landing at Southport is a beautiful, tree lined, waterfront community, overlooking the Cape Fear River. It features 147 lots, and is located near the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, and just a mile from historic downtown Southport.
The neighborhood was developed in 1998 by Blue Green and is now managed by an active homeowner’s association. The Landing at Southport prides itself on maintaining its charming look by adhering to protective and restrictive covenants and guidelines for both building and living in our community.
This friendly community is one of a few with a beachfront pool, clubhouse and "Southport Style" swings, as well as a pier, walking paths and several large common areas. The pier is comfortable for sipping wine under the gazebo or for fishing, complete with a fish cleaning station and running water. There are many social and recreational activities available throughout the year. Many residents enjoy quiet walks on the small beach, biking, or catching the Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry just down the street.
Living in The Landing is not only home, but a way of life. You will see neighbors waving from golf carts, gardening, walking their dogs and biking on a daily basis. Our community has thrived on the generosity of volunteers. Some serve on the HOA Board or the Architectural Review Committee, helping to maintain our community standards; others volunteer to oversee our storm water management or join the garden committee in keeping our landscaping beautiful.
