Originally Horns in E flat only played in the Et in terra pax; during a later revision (as part of which Fasch deleted the Christe eleison and second Kyrie eleison and altered the underlaid text for the opening movement), he added Horn in G parts for this composite Kyrie-Christe-Kyrie movement
According to a note on the cover (by Bernhard Engelke or Hermann Wäschke?) there was a score at Magdeburg Cathedral (the library was destroyed during World War 2), and a second set of parts at the Thomasschule, Leipzig, also now lost
