Janet married Mitchell Edwards 26 November 1885 at 52 Nile Street, Blythswood, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Mitchell Edwards was born about 1857 in Ireland, son of Mark Edwards and Elizabeth Armstrong, and died 14 October 1931 at 190 Gourlay Street, Possil Park, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Janet and Mitchell had the following children: Jessie Wyper, Elizabeth Armstrong, James Wyper, Robert, Annie Porteous Rennie, Mary Agnes Wyper, Lilias Porteous, Isabella Chalmers and William James Armstrong.

1. Jessie Wyper Edwards was born 10 July 1884 at 298 Denmark Street, Possil Park, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died 24 July 1904 in Blackfriars, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Jessie married George Watson, 25 Dec 1903, at 72 Montgomerie Street, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. George Watson was born 06 April 1883, son of Joseph Lindsay Watson and Margaret Glasgow, at 10 Craignestock Place, Calton, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

2. Elizabeth Armstrong Edwards was born 21 January 1886 at 77 Banloch Street, Possil Park, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and is presumed to have died in Canada. Elizabeth married Alexander Fleming Adam on 30 January 1917 in the Springburn Public Hall, Springburn, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Alexander was born 25 Aug 1892, son of Alexander Adam and Margaret Gourlay, and died 13 May 1936 at 29 Paton Road, Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada and was buried in Toronto Prospect on 16 May 1936. It would appear from a Passenger Declaration card dated 06 March 1926 that Elizabeth had lived in Canada and returned to Scotland to marry Alexander and then both emigrated to Canada. It is unclear if Alexander had previously lived there, though I believe he had.

3. James Wyper Edwards was born 14 November 1887 at 73 Denmark Street, Possil Park, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died 23 August 1901 in the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

4. Robert Edwards was born 03 October 1889 at 73 Denmark Street, Possil Park, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Robert married Sarah Eleanor McKenzie, 29 April 1927 in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada. Sarah was born 02 Jun 1899 at 89 Oran Street, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

5. Annie Porteous Rennie Edwards was born 15 August 1891 at 185 Allander Street, Possil Park, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and married Angus Carson Millar 02 October 1919 at 192 Gourlay Street, Possil Park, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Angus was born 12 Oct 1894 at 7 Broomhall Street, Kinning Park, Lanarkshire, Scotland to William Millar and Elizabeth Gillies. Annie and Angus immigrated to Canada.

6. Mary Agnes Wyper Edwards was born 09 October 1893 at 185 Allander Street, Possil Park, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died 17 September 1926 in Hillhead, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.

7. Lillias Porteous Edwards was born 17 September 1895 at 185 Gourlay Street, Possil Park, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died in 1971 in Glasgow, Scotland. Lillias married Evan David Gray 03 January 1923 at Drummond Memorial Church, Allander Street, Possil Park, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Evan was born 01 February 1896 at 21 Crossburn Street, Milton, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died 17 April 1950 at 325 Tantallon Road, Pollock, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Lillias and Evan adopted the son, James Edward of her sister, Isabella Chalmers Edwards Pattison, and reared him.

8. Isabella Chalmers Edwards was born 20 January 1898 at 185 Allander Street, Possil Park, Maryhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died 18 Dec 1929 at Robroyston Hospital, Garngadhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Isabella married James McGibbon Pattison 10 November 1924 in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada. James was born 14 Jul 1893 at 1213 Sydney Street, Dennistoun, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died 09 June 1929 at Robroyston Hospital, Garngadhill, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Isabella and James both died of tuberculosis. Isabella and James had a son, James Edward Pattison Gray, born 20 September 1925 in Canada and died 05 March 2001 in Glasgow, Scotland, who was adopted by her sister, Lillias Porteous Edwards Gray and her husband, Evan David Gray.

William married Mary Houston Addison 16 April 1930 at 350 Sauchichall Street, Milton, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland. Mary, daughter of James Henderson Addison and Mary Houston, was born 22 August 1903 at 820 Springburn Road, Dennistoun, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland and died in 1996 in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.
