2: Good morning, and welcome to the Daily 2. Today is Thursday, May 2nd and it's a Day 6. 

1: Happy birthday today to 

2: For lunch today, we have Mandarin Orange Chicken, Teriyaki Beef, Chicken Caesar Salad, Smoothie and Pretzel, or Hot and Cold Sandwiches. 

1: Served with Fresh Fruit and Veggie Bar, Ice Cold Milk, Steamed Rice, Glazed Carrots, and Chicken and Veggie Dumpling. 

2: For students in the music program, today is a Chorus Day. 

1: After School Activities today include Directed Study, Chess Club, Friendship Club, Knitting and Crocheting, Puzzle Club, Ultimate Frisbee, Unified Corn Hole, and Volleyball Club. Yearbook club is cancelled for today. 

2: Again, no Yearbook Club today.  

1: If your class donated clothes for the clothing drive, please hand the tally sheets to Mrs. Ricci in room 240 by today. 

2: Student Council representatives, make sure to look onto our TEAMS page for important announcements and RSVP for our end-or-year celebration. 

1: Thank you, once again, to all of our 7th grade WEB Applicants this year! The staff at the Ahern are really hoping you'll seek out other leadership activities here at the Ahern and within our Foxborough community. 

2: For our 7th grade WEB Leader recruits who were accepted, make sure to read and review all of the documents you received in the mail with your adult. Since this has been such a competitive year, we cannot make exceptions to our mandatory training dates, due dates, and expectations!  

1: The blue WEB Leader Information Sheet and yellow WEB Leader Code of Conduct sheet are both due by our May Spring Play Day on May 24th. You are strongly encouraged to turn these forms in sooner to Ms. Annis' room #104 that way you won't lose them. 

2: Again, if you have the two papers shown on the screen completed, drop them off to the folder hanging outside of Room 104. The WEB Coordinators are excited to work with you and to have you welcome our next group of 5th graders to the Ahern. 

1: The last two trailers were for books that might be good for any of our Ahern students, but we also know there are plenty of you who need more!  

2: Something creepier and darker, maybe?  

1: Don't worry! There will be plenty of books at the BOGO Fair that might interest 7th & 8th grade readers in particular.
