Quiet, rustic camp located on Curtis Pond in Calais, Vermont. Enjoy swimming, kayaking and fishing for large-mouth bass or just relax and listen to the loons and watch the wildlife. The pond is approximately 1 mile long and 300 yards wide, with a public boat ramp and a 5 mph speed limit for all boats. The camp has a full kitchen and bathroom, dining and living room area, screened-in porch. There is a bedroom on the first floor with a queen-size bed. The upstairs loft is split into two sections with three double beds. Less than a mile from Maple Corner General Store (store has wifi) and the Whammy Bar, eleven miles from Montpelier, Vermont's capital, and twenty-five scenic miles to the Ben & Jerry's factory in Waterbury.
The camp's location is such that cell phones rarely work. The camp does have a landline available for use and WiFi will be available during peak season. The camp has several games and books for entertainment. There is also a TV (no cable) and DVD/VCR that can be enjoyed as well.
