Following a terrible start - losing our first four matches - The Brown team of Stig, Huda, Prof, (Geordie), Kate, Catherine and myself gradually improved as we learnt to play together indoors better. We challenged Bears, the eventual runners up, to a close match and built from here to win our final five matches and win the plate. Had we started the tournament as we had finished it I have little doubt that we would have secured a top eight finish. No matter, everyone had fun at the parties. Stig got a little tipsy and had a fight with a 'battered lobster' on New Year's Eve!
