The start of Cataclysm saw the return of Nefarian and Onyxia, for whom death was merely an illusion or 'a setback' respectively. Along with Cho'gall, the head of The Twilight's Hammer and Al'Akir the Windlord.
This raiding tier taught us many new things. I learnt that you could actually turn the camera 180 degrees without being sat down (after this screenshot was taken, obviously).
Whilst the guild as a whole learnt that Mages should not be given nice things...
We also learnt that the plural of phoenix is phoenixi, or at least, if it isn't, it should be...
Tier 12 was a special tier for us at The Black Sheep. Not only did Raggy return from his banishment to wreak havoc with even shittier add phases than before, but Cuddler also embarassed the guild in full view of everybody in Orgrimmar: Messing up the final part of the legendary quest chain, the first legendary the guild had ever gotten in a current content raid, whilst dressed as a lumberjack.
He then spent the rest of the expansion trying to convince everybody that he was, in fact, Bambi...
The final raid tier of the expansion delivered the much anticipated battle with Deathwing, or parts of him anyway. I don't think that Dragon Soul is actually as bad as many people would have you believe, but I do think it would have been nice to face the whole dragon, as opposed to just his feet...
Summer vacation, house moving and general apathy meant we were not able to finish our Fangs of the Father until Mists, but you know, better late than never...
