語学異文化学習支援室
Foreign Language Self-Study AND MORE!
Located at the east end of Bldg 1, 2F, next to Rm 120, the Language & Cross-Cultural Studies Support Room features a lending library of over 2,000 graded readers, TOEIC study guides, self-study materials and other resources for language learning (English, German, Chinese and Korean).
There is also a bookcase full of free books (novels, non-fiction, etc.) for students and faculty/staff. You're welcome to make them your own, read and return, or contribute your own books.
The LCSR is open M-F, 12:00-12:30 for students and staff to use the library.
The room is also equipped with movable tables and chairs and projector equipped white boards, make it a good choice for small meetings and study sessions. For example, the Extensive Reading Group meets there each Tuesday at noon.
Faculty and students are welcome to reserve the room for occasional use (check with Kyomu-ka).
Faculty can also establish their own file boxes to hold handouts, etc. for their students to access. See Ken Schmidt for help with that.
