The club offers a coached Masters session on Friday evenings 20:30-22:00, Tuesday and Thursday mornings 06:00-07.30. These sessions are for those adults who can swim confidently but need extra tuition in any/all strokes to improve technique, stamina, breathing. It is particularly useful for those competing in triathlons or considering open water swimming but can be used by those wishing to use swimming as a form of exercise.
As well as perfecting stroke technique the sessions also cover tumble-turns, lane etiquette and diving. The session is made up of drills focusing on different aspects of the stroke or doing distance work to improve stamina.
