Training in Organic Vegetable Garden was held at Logoville Subdivision, San Rafael, Roxas, Isabela last June 25-26, 2020.
This is a collaborative project of TESDA- Isabela, LGU Roxas, R&D Oliveros Farm School and the Logoville Homeowners Association.
Participants composed of youth, housekeepers, farmers, professionals, and senior citizens.
The program, consisting of rural and urban system of gardening, aim to provide people in the rural and urban area the knowledge and skills needed in the production of vegetables which are safe for human consumption at a minimal cost.
It would also provide economic opportunities for the participants through the production of organic fertilizers and pesticides which they can sell to organic farming practitioners.
The Local Government Unit of Roxas through the Municipal Agriculture Office provided various vegetable seeds for seedling production and committed to provide follow-up trainings and other form of assistance to the graduates to ensure the success of the program.
