Tips:

Heat and Humidity - One of the most common problems that harps have is damage due to heat and humidity changes. An environment too hot and dry will result in the separation of laminates with cracking being the result. The adhesives harps are made with will soften when heated. To avoid separation of glue joints and expensive repairs, do not place your harp near heat registers, avoid leaving them in direct sunlight, and under no circumstances secured in hot vehicles. Check your humidity often over the Winter months and if low, humidify to bring levels up to at least 30%.
