Analog Circuit Design Engineer

Main Jobs:

- Managing deliverable of Mixed Signal IP project design team which consists of circuit designers, RTL designers, structural designers, mask designers, signal integrity and power delivery engineers.

- Responsible for developing a given hard IP (USB2, 8Gps IO, Audio/Soundwire IO, GPIO and OPIO) to deliver to the SoC customers.

- Planning the project resource, schedule and risk management throughout the IP project execution to meet the SoC customer commit schedule.

- Managing key stakeholder, customer communication and change request disposition.

- Working with the micro-architects to identify best solution to technical issues e.g. bug fixes and also work with the structural and mask design leads on schedule mitigation.

- Interfacing and managing outsourcing vendors.

- Responsible for IP integration related to RTL, APR and custom layout.

Internship Project - Low Power ECG Active Electrode Design for Wireless Bio-potential Sensor

Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre (IMEC) - Kapeldreef 75, Heverlee (Belgium).

Supervisor: Dr. Refet Firat Yazicioglu and Prof. Chris Van Hoof.

Major Role: The research project is focused on designing of a low power ECG active electrode for wireless bio-potential sensor including characterization, MATLAB simulation, and implementation. This work entails the design and characterization of a novel uni-polar three electrodes measurement for wireless bio-potential sensor for an ECG active electrode implementation. Our contribution would be twofold: (i) algorithm development for generating the computed ECG signals for reconstruct the ECG leads signals and (ii) characterization and medical validation of new novel ECG unipolar measurement methods.
