How to Temporarily Disable Bit defender?
We all know that nowadays our computer systems are susceptible to virus attacks due to our constant internet connection. Therefore, we should not turn off the anti-virus without a purpose. To prevent virus attacks on our system, we need to understand how to temporarily disable Bitdefender antivirus.
Meanwhile, we have this scenario when we cannot install some applications with anti-virus protection. So, to overcome this situation, and also to configure applications on the PC, we need to disable antivirus security for a while.
To understand how to temporarily disable Bitdefender security, follow the instructions below.
You need to disable the antivirus program only for a limited time each time you install another application. After successful installation, re-enable the antivirus program.
If you're downloading an application, be sure to download it from a reliable source.
If you are installing the application by disk, scan the disk with anti-virus first. After cleaning, start the shutdown procedure.
Never turn off the anti-virus unless you are going to configure an application or you do not have an email to turn off the anti-virus.
Click the Preferences button in the ANTIVIRUS interface.
From the Shield tab and then Disable the Bitdefender Shield button by clicking it.
On the Disks and Cameras tab, click the button next to Scan mapped network drives and select Disabled.
Return to the Security Features screen.
Click the Preferences button in the web module. HAZARD PREVENTION. On the Internet Security tab, disable all five buttons for these attributes: avoiding Internet attacks, Search Advisor, encrypted network scanning and fraud protection, protection against phishing attacks. On the Prevent Network Threats tab, set the switch to OFF.
Return to the Security Features screen.
Set the switch to OFF in the FIREWALL module.
Set the switch to OFF in the ANTISPAM module.
Set the switch to OFF in the VULNERABILITY module.
Set the switch to OFF in the SAFE FILES module.
In the RANSOMWARE REMOVAL module, set the switch to OFF.
Enter the Privacy screen.
Click Configure in PARENTAL CONTROL.
Another way to fix the issue
Select the profile associated with the device, click the icon next to it and select Devices. Uncheck the box next to the computer title, click SAVE.
In the WEBCAM PROTECTION module, set the switch to the OFF position.
Set the switch to OFF in the PASSWORD MANAGER module.
Return to the main Bitdefender port and go to the Settings window.
Go to the PROFILE tab.
Set the switch next to Activate profiles to OFF.
In case the problem is resolved after examining these modules, then re-enable one by one to recognize the offender module.
Of course, this is not a permanent solution, but the best solution is to disable the Windows 10 antivirus program to perform some tasks.
