Precinct conventions will be the Saturday following the Primary election this year by order of the Travis GOP Executive Committee.) You must have voted in this year's Republican Primary in order to participate.

IS THERE A COST? Yes, but we're relying on free-will donations. We sincerely appreciate your generosity with any donation you can make to help us pay for all the expenses we incur to put on a successful convention for you. We receive no funds from any Republican Party source (state or national) to put on this convention -- all funds must be raised locally. Please click on "Donate!" at the menu to your left or click here. (And please write "For SD Conventions" in the comments.) There are also sponsorship opportunities available with display options in PowerPoint presentations and a printed program, in addition to interest tables in the foyer.
WHO IS IN CHARGE? There is a small army of volunteers present, but all organizational activities are in conjunction with the SD Chairmen. Their decisions in each SD convention are final -- please do not appeal to the County Chairman. All combined activity (including opening session, vendors table, etc. is under the direction of the Travis County Republican Party. The Temporary Convention Chairmen and volunteers have been working diligently for months to organize and hold a successful convention. Let's all do our part to help us have a successful convention experience for everyone!

Use the hashtag #TCRPcon on social media to share photos, important information, praise for our candidates and speakers, etc.
HOW DO I BECOME A STATE OR NATIONAL DELEGATE? To become a state delegate for the RPT Convention, you must be nominated by your SD nominations committee. More info on this fascinating process can be found here. National delegates are appointed by state delegates only in presidential election years.
HOW DO I SUBMIT A RESOLUTION? The following page on RPT's Web site has more information on the process: http://www.texasgop.org/resolutions.
