Inclement Weather

In the case of thunderstorms we still proceed to the pool UNLESS you have received an EMAIL one hour prior to the meet notifying you that the meet has been cancelled. You may call the parent president or coaching staff to confirm, if you have any questions, but we will not contact all the swimmers on the roster by phone. We often proceed to the pool during foul whether and wait for a decision to postpone the meet until the weather clears, or the meet may need to be cancelled entirely. In this case, we seem to get hungry and make plans to go out to eat together as a team. Unlike other sports, we do swim in the rain (as long as there is no lightening or thunder), so bring your umbrellas . . . while the kids like being wet . . . parents often find this uncomfortable!
