I am a professor of economics at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). Prior to joining SDU, I was an assistant and associate professor at the University of Copenhagen and worked as a staff economist at the Danish central bank.
I teach undergraduate macroeconomics, advanced macroeconomics, and the economics of European integration.Â
My research interests span comparative economics, economic development, economic history, international finance & macroeconomics, and political economy.
I have published in journals such as the Review of Economic Studies, Review of Economics and Statistics, Economic Journal, European Economic Review, Journal of Comparative Economics, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Growth, IMF Economic Review, and World Bank Economic Review.
I live in Copenhagen with my wife and two children.
