I am a professor of economics at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). Prior to joining SDU, I was an assistant and associate professor at the University of Copenhagen and worked as a staff economist at the Danish central bank.

I teach undergraduate macroeconomics, advanced macroeconomics, and the economics of European integration. 

My research interests span comparative economics, economic development, economic history, macroeconomics, and political economy.
