Vision
We chose "Tapped Earth" for our name because we strive to harvest the natural phenomenon and resources of our surroundings to create the highest quality farm products possible with a seriously low carbon footprint. Our farm is off-grid - meaning most of our work gets done via the sun, wind and human muscle, our water comes from the rain, and fertilizer comes mainly from animal/plant waste. Our animals primarily forage for protein and grasses but are supplemented with certified organic feeds - free of chemicals or genetically-modified grains (GMOs). We respect and utilize the natural systems present around us and are constantly experimenting and learning new ways to become more efficient and resilient in the face of an uncertain future. We are proud and excited to be a small part of a vibrant local food scene!
