Annette has been helping us look after our dogs for about 8 years. She was recommended by my previous dog walker. She followed us when we moved home and has always been flexible and helpful.
She looked after Cassie, our previous dog, and still came on the day’s I was at work even though Cassie’s walking days were done. When we adopted Elsie, our Romanian rescue, I checked that Annette was still on board as Elsie has lots of anxiety issues so it was important that we had a dog walker that understood this.
Annette spent a number of visits building Elsie’s trust at a pace that was led by Elsie. Time and patience was the most important factor, Annette knew exactly what to do, Elsie now loves her to bits, goes out for walks and loves her fuss. This is a major break through for Elsie as she still has anxiety and is fearful even of people she’s met before. We couldn’t manage without Annette and her brilliant way with our dogs. We trust her implicitly, and are so lucky that we found her! I would recommend her pet services to anyone

'At first I was worried about someone other than my family walking Ben as he can be a handful at times and is aggressive with certain breeds. I quickly realised that I needn't have worried as Annette was fantastic with him. It was clear from day one that Ben clearly adored her. Annette is a real find, an utter gem for our family. She walks our 7 year old grumpy Frenchie more or less every week day while I am at work. We tried two other dog walkers before her. While they truly loved dogs; these walkers didn’t know how to react around anything other than 100% affable dogs. My dog is lovely to immediate family but grumpy with others, he has barriers. I contacted Annette to help, I wish I’d called her first. As soon as she arrived I knew they would be fine. On the first visit she knew exactly what to do, never giving him eye contact and letting him come to her rather than fussing him into a frenzy. She has a calming way with my dog, which has meant she’s been with us for nearly 2 years now. She is a true dog lover but more than that she knows how to handle dogs who may not always be laid back 100% of the time. I would recommend her highly, she goes over and above, even calling me one day when she spotted a ceiling leak in my kitchen when stopping by to walk the dog!
Couldn’t recommend her highly enough. We like to receive the Easter and Christmas pictures of her fur babies dressed up accordingly too!
