Howdy! This is our old site... come visit us on our new one!!!
The American Society for Horticultural Science is composed of a variety of people such as researchers, teachers, and extension educators who are active members of the Horticultural community working to better our future, addressing major issues in our nation as well as the world. They work to promote research and education in all branches of horticulture. Each year ASHS hosts competitions in which a team of students from our Texas A&M Horticulture Club attend.
This year the Horticulture Club sent members to compete at the Southern Region - American Society of Horticultural Sciences conference in plant identification and judging. The conference took place in San Antonio, Texas. During our stay, we visited the gorgeous San Antonio Botanical Garden and got to practice our identification while enjoying what the area had to offer.
