The celebrated open problem "\delta=\gamma?" posed by Gerlits and Nagy (Topology Appl., 1982) was finally solved! Congrats to Bardyla, Šupina and Zdomskyy for constructing a counter-example (Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., 2023). In my master thesis, with my advisor Boaz Tsaban we proved (affirmatively) a variation of the problem (Adv. Math., 2013).
