This is a very rare find in a tall steel touring bike with very long chain stays and cantilever brake. The frame is in excellent condition and is a very tall 63cm or 25" for riders over 6 feet tall. This is a very well made bike designed for touring or commuting with racks and fenders. It has plenty of hill climbing gears and the Frame is made of Columbus Tubing. Only the Luxe model had the upgraded tubing and Canti brakes. Most of these bikes had center pulls and lower grade tubing.
You must see this bike to appreciate the condition. This is an all original Schwinn Le Tour Luxe except for the brand new tires and has low miles.
