UA ChemisTRY EDUCATION

Welcome to the Talanquer CERP Group Website!

We conduct chemistry education research directed at characterizing the conceptual sophistication and depth of reasoning of chemistry students. We are also interested in developing new ways of conceptualizing the chemistry curriculum and the teaching of the discipline (visit the Chemical Thinking page).  As part of this effort, we have developed interactive tools that can be used to actively engage students in the exploration of chemical systems and phenomena (visit the Chemical Thinking Interactives page). For additional information about our work, explore this Website, check Vicente Talanquer's CV or contact us at: vicente@arizona.edu.
