Geochemical measurement in the field using portable x-ray fluorescence (pXRF). This measurement was taken in 2019 when I was MSc student the ITC faculty of the University of Twente, the Netherlands.
The measurement location is in the Harz mountain of Germany. The exact location of the photo is at the UNESCO registered old Rammelsburg mine south of the historic city of Goslar.
So with pXRF (Niton™ XL3t XRF Analyzer) fast measurement can be taken for real-time result observation and onsite decision.
