On each meet month we have a wine competition which is normally set by a groups recipe

The winner, second and third in these competitions will be awarded 3, 2 and 1 point respectively

                                           The member with the highest total over the Year will be awarded the Les Diamond Trophy at the  AGM.

Please Note the following:-

                                             Note A charge may be made at some meetings to meet the costs of samples provided by speakers

Competition:  Rose Medium-Dry

Talk on making Flower wines, with a Flower wine set recipe for our comptition in November.

18th JUNE

Competition:  White Sweet

                         Wine and Cheese Night with a General Quiz.

16th JULY

Competition:  Social Red any style

Preperation for the Taunton Flower Show and any other comptitions.

20th AUGUST

Competition:  None this Month

BBQ at Ian's house BBQ, Curry, and make your own pizza

17th September

Competition:  Fruit Juice set recipe

15th October

Competition:  Infusion any style

Talk on railway history books/ history of Taunton

19th November

Competition:  Any Flower wine

Wine and Cheese night plus a talk on a wine region with wine samples of that region.

17th December

Competition: Mulled Wine

Christmas Quiz with prize, Bring and share supper

21st January

Competition:  After Dinner Wine Any type

Wine and Cheese Night

18th February

Competition: Dry Whie
