Each year, a new student-created theme inspires participants in the PTA Reflections program. This year's Reflections theme is "I Belong!," created by Ben Morgan from Lewis and Clark Middle School PTSA in Idaho.

Celebrating the ART in SpARTans!
The PTSA’s Arts Committee supports the visual art, chorus, band, orchestra, dance, and theatre programs here at Mount Tabor High School. If you have a student enrolled in any of these classes, the Arts Committee’s efforts directly benefit your child! Our mission extends beyond fundraising - we strive to celebrate our student artists by providing avenues for them to exhibit and express their hard work throughout the year. The committee consists of parent representatives from each program.
Approximately 1,000 students take some type of arts course. These classes rely on Arts Committee fundraisers as well as the PTSA Spartan Legacy Campaign to help supplement the costs of essential needs such as art supplies, instrument repairs, music, competition fees, stage equipment, and costumes.
Our programs are consistent award winners. Last year, SpARTan artists were recognized in all genres: All-County Dance; Theta nominees for theatre arts; All-County and Western Region Orchestra; All-County Band and All-District Band; All-County Chorus; and multiple visual art competition winners.
The year culminated with the successful Tabor City Arts Festival - a fun-filled evening with rousing performances in multiple venues on campus, visual art displays and sales, hands-on activities and food trucks. The festival, which was open to the community, certainly showcased the value of art education here at Mount Tabor!
This year, we look forward to another exciting performance schedule, including a large-scale musical production in the spring. Student visual art will be displayed throughout the year in shows and competitions. Watch for details on the school’s social media accounts and the weekly email.
We welcome your help with performances and the Tabor City Arts Festival. If you are interested in volunteering, please feel free to email us!
