I hold a PhD in Linguistics and am Associate Professor of Linguistics at the University of Geneva. 

My research lies in theoretical linguistics and adopts a cross-linguistic perspective. My main research domains include syntax, morphosyntax, the syntax–semantics interface, language variation, language change, and second language acquisition. Within these domains, I have worked on topics including nominal determination, partitivity (partitive articles and pronouns), selection, semantic and grammatical gender, special language registers, particularly diary language, and the history of English. 

I have participated in and led several externally funded research projects and have collaborated with researchers in Switzerland and abroad, combining theoretical and experimental approaches.
