Join Us for an Unforgettable Summer Camp at Seven Ranges Scout Reservation!
📅 Dates: June 21, 2026 - June 27, 2026
📍 Location: Seven Ranges Scout Reservation, Ohio
Summer camp is one of the biggest highlights of the scouting year! It’s an incredible opportunity for Scouts to work on advancements, develop new skills, and create lasting memories while bonding with their troop. From outdoor adventures to campfire stories, this week is packed with fun and growth.
Parents, you’re welcome to join for part or all of the week! Experience the outdoors with some added comforts—elevated bunks in large tents with wooden floors, an air-conditioned dining hall (no Scout-cooked meals!), and warm showers. Plus, for those who need to stay connected, the leaders' lounge has good internet access.
We are also planning two additional summer events and need a headcount for all three. Please fill out the Google form to let us know what your scout and you plan to attend.
Summer Camp, June 21-27. Seven Ranges Scout Reservation, Ohio. 24 spots available.
Bike Ride, June 27 - July 1. To mark America's 250th birthday, the troop will ride 250 miles home to DC. We drive from camp to Ohiopyle State Park, have lunch, and ride the free natural water slides. Younger scouts drive home from there. Older scouts unload bikes and start riding the GAP Trail at mile 72, a rail-to-trail path connecting to the C&O Canal trail. No turns, no traffic, minimal danger. We plan to cover 50-70 miles per day at a pace of about 10 miles per hour, targeting a finish late Tuesday June 30 or early Wednesday July 1. Scouts carry tents, sleeping bags, and minimal gear. We eat dinner at restaurants and handle cold breakfasts and sandwiches on our own. Dozens of grocery stores and restaurants line the route. The main gear requirement is a good bicycle.
