**Canoeing Practice

Apparently the free youth canoeing at Castaic has been cancelled for this season.  However there is a private company run by a somebody who works for Hart District that rents canoes to use for practice.  It is by the hour, and they are setup at the boating launch ramp on the south east side of the lagoon.  They're called "Cruise Castaic".  Here is the website:

There is also free dragon boating practice at the lake on Wednesdays at 5pm near the CSUN Aquatic Center side.
