- Vim files useful when using Ox statistical software under linux can be found here.
- Those files allow to process R files while working under Vim / gVim (press F4) and access the results (press F5). Quite useful.
- There is a copy of GPL in the archive.
- I release those files under GPL.
- The idea for those files was inspired by Ox files by Vincent Nijs and were originally posted here. As the original author, Vincent Nijs is the owner of all copyrights related to those files. Original files allowed for:
- syntax highlight;
- commenting lines;
- running ox programs from vim;
- jumping to errors in the ox program;
- finding help for a word under the cursor.
My contribution involved only simple modifications necessary for Linux users, running bash. Files were tested under Slackware 10.2, Vim 6.2 and Mozilla Firefox 1.0.6. Before sending any comments please do check chmod, chown and your system settings (example: you download those files from http server which requires lower case letters (myvimfiles), links are to normal variables (myVimfiles). NOTE: VIM does not accept files located within directories starting with no-standard characters !% etc. Please make sure you account for that.
