Examining the Communication, Organization and Development Patterns of FOSS Projects
This paper examines the common trends in Free Open Source Software (FOSS) development. We will provide an enumeration of practices that are common to successful FOSS projects. The intent of examining FOSS projects strategies for success is to help other organizations deal with the challenges similar to those that FOSS projects have over come.
Multi-media Networks
This paper will review some of the factors of implementing multi media networks. We will provide an overview of network architecture, communication protocols, and application services. The intent of this paper is to provide a foundation for developing multi media systems in a holistic approach that takes into consideration all the different factors described above. We also review the working multi media network and evaluate the current status of the system.
Framework for Describing the Concept of Requirements Awareness in Software Development
This paper discusses the topic of requirements workspace awareness in software development. We explore the important factors of requirements awareness and how they affect the development of software. The primary goal of this paper is to propose a framework for describing the concept of awareness as it pertains to requirements.
