Welcome to the Portland State University Society of Women Engineers collegiate section website!

The Society of Women Engineers (SWE), founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit educational and service organization.

SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as a highly desirable career aspiration for women.

SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.

SWE is Fundraising!

There are just nine days left in SWE's crowdfunding campaign!  Our goal is to raise $3,775 by November 1st.  We have currently raised $1,650!  A big THANK YOU to all those who have donated already!

However, we still have fundraising to do.  We have grand plans for this year including going to Region Conference, developing a community outreach program, and continuing to strengthen our professional development services.  SWE's presence at Portland State is important.  We offer a supportive network to our peers through SWE meet ups, our mentor/mentee program, and more.  Please help us reach our fundraising goal by clicking HERE and donating to our organization.  Your donation will help inspire another young girl to pursue STEM!
