About Us

Swainsboro-Emanuel County Parks and Recreation Department strives to meet the needs of the citizens of Emanuel County by offering a variety of sports activities and recreational facilities including parks and walking trails throughout the county. Recreation Department facilities include an activity room filled with exercise equipment and a gym. The recreation complex surrounding the center includes a lighted walking trail, four lighted softball fields, concession stand with scoring tower, batting cage with warm-up area, restrooms, two playgrounds, four picnic pavilions with grills, a cook shelter and three ponds. A splash pad is also located at the Recreation Department. The baseball complex, located on McLeod Bridge Road, includes three lighted ball fields with scoring tower, restrooms, playground, picnic tables, concession stand and two batting cages.
