Bundaberg's hull, bulkheads and interior furnature were completed and delivered to John Kint in the winter of 1983/4. John installed all of the external fittings, winches, and electical. She raced as a member of the Royal Geelong Yacht Club (sail R 38) in Geelong Australia and competed in her first blue water race from Melbourne to Davenport on the north coast of Tasmania in December 1986. She is now in the Sea of Cortez , Mexico (2015).
