Margaret needed a bed.
Margaret needed a bed.
And she was 8 months pregnant, sleeping on an air mattress. She was out of work due to COVID-19 and after moving, she and her partner did not have a bed. We were able to provide her with a bed and mattress so she is sleeping much more comfortably as she prepares for her baby to arrive.
Stacy was laid off.
Stacy was laid off.
A single mom, Stacy was working as a security guard to support herself and her daughter. She took pride in paying off her bills and making ends meet. But due to COVID-19, she was laid off and needed help with her electric bill. We were able to take care of the bill and provide some peace of mind for her family.
An apartment complex catches fire.
An apartment complex catches fire.
Five families were displaced in the middle of the night, leaving them without anything. We partnered with other agencies to help get them all back on their feet. We provided the families with beds, furniture, clothing, household items, and paid the balance on their utility bills. The families are so grateful for the support.
