O'Carolan's Welcome

One of the most famous pieces written by Irish harp player and composer Turlough O'Carolan (1670-1738), this haunting piece is a favorite for harp players. The second part can be played as an accompaniment while another instrument, such as a flute, plays the melody line. O'Carolan traveled the countryside composing and playing music for patrons who welcomed him as an honored guest.
