Susan Bell Piano Studio offers Private, one-on-one Piano lessons- tailored to your needs, for students of all ages, levels, and abilities. Recommended lesson times are for 30 minutes, once a week, that cover comprehensive music education, proper piano techniques, music theory and repertoire development. With over 30 years of Music Teaching experience, let Susan Bell share her love of music to help guide your student into a deeper musical understanding through a reading based curriculum, exposure to many different styles of music and grow their confidence in performance.
My philosophy: "I believe all students can learn; no matter their talent or experience. All that is necessary is hard work and a willing heart. Practicing Tip! *If you use your time wisely when you practice, there should NOT be a lot of silence. Pick a song, section, etc. and play it over & over. When it's “perfect”, move on. But don’t get upset over the mistakes- everyone makes mistakes. Just go to work fixing them. When you are practicing, you are “training” your fingers to do what your mind already understands. Sometimes, our fingers are just slower to learn it!
