SALE TIMELINE:
MEETING:
* Meet with you at your location
* Determine what the family will retain and what is left to sell
* Discuss a sale time frame for the sale
* Discuss possible clean out to remove unsold merchandise after sale
PREP FOR THE SALE:
* Organize, Display and Price Merchandise
* Investigate and research unique pricing for items
* Secure any family mementos, private papers & set aside for family members
* Photograph merchandise for online ad to advertise the sale
* Determine community trash removal date and restriction
*Advertise sale online ASAP - usually starting 2-3 weeks before sale date
RUN THE SALE
*Put signs up locally in neighborhood as allowed by city / township
*Run sale and interact with customers, offering help when needed
*Maintain records of all sales transactions
CLOSING THE SALE
* Leave remaining items for client to remove from home * Return all keys and close house up
* Provide check for proceeds of the sale within two weeks
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
* If client has requested a CLEAN OUT to removal items after sale:
*Remove the remaining items out of the home as discussed and agreed
* Work with client to determine which unsold items will be donated to charitable org
* Remove all trash from the premise
* Provide receipt of charitable donations to family representative
* General cleaning ( vacuum / mop / sweep )
