After a year worked again on zotero and was trying to see how best users can use Zotero within an organization. While studying zotero in details was struggling to see how best users can use it within an organization. If users want to upload pdf zotero server has a block of uploading 300 MB size then was trying to see whether Google Drive or DropBox can be used but realized that they both copy whole Zotero folder. Then also looked at webdav ption. On our library machine Redhat is installed on one server Used webdav facility to check whether zotero can work easily on webdav. To configure webdav on Redhat used following steps from the following link

During last week was working on Zotero and Mendeley for conducting sesssions at MIT, Alandi workshop. At home Mendeley worked but when Mendeley installation was tried in MIT, Alandi it threw network connection error. Though they did not have any proxy issue, it was not accepting login/password and after restarting standalone 2 to 3 times Mendeley worked.
Later on did not easily find out getting firefox plugin for mendeley.
Mendeley screen was giving error "No internet connection".
Mendeley does not allow to import records from ISBN
Many times Mendeley keeps asking for entering login/password.
Mendeley syncs all records hence on a large scale it become difficult to find records.
Mendeley does not show up easy option of create bibliography in variety of formats

Worked extensively on Zotero. Also learnt how to use Mendeley. My objective to use zotero was to create an Author Bibliography of books in different subject areas. Zotero allow to import records from Amazon/Google Books/World Cat or any other library catalogues. Zotero also allow to import records from current web page link with basic information, from ISBN as well as from DOI. Menedely does not import any records from ISBN/DOI.
