Sungwan Hong

I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. I am also a faculty affiliate of the Center for Energy at the University of Pittsburgh.

My research lies at the intersection of macroeconomics, international trade, and environmental economics, using quantitative spatial and dynamic general-equilibrium models. 

I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University in 2025.
