Research Environment and Responsibilities
- Research-focused position: independent and collaborative research, seminars, workshops, invited lectures, and international research activities of the Arithmetic Geometry Lab
- Research travel and related expenses may be supported within the available budget.
- International applicants are welcome; Korean language proficiency is not required, and research activities can be conducted in English.
Terms
- Starting date: September 1, 2026, or a mutually agreed date
- Initial appointment: one year
- Renewal: renewable in one-year increments, subject to review and availability of funding, up to June 30, 2029 under the current grant
- Salary: at least KRW 45,000,000 per year, commensurate with experience and research accomplishments, plus statutory social insurance and pension contributions
Teaching
- There is no teaching duty.
- If departmental needs arise and the postdoctoral fellow wishes to teach, the fellow may teach at most one course per semester. Separate teaching compensation will be paid; the amount follows departmental regulations.

포항공과대학교 수학과 산술기하학 연구실에서는 한국연구재단 기초연구실지원사업 선정에 따라 박사후연구원 O명을 모집합니다.
1. 연구실 및 연구진
- 연구실명: 산술기하학 연구실 (Arithmetic Geometry Lab)

2. 모집 분야
- 산술기하학 전반 또는 위 4명 교수의 연구와 밀접한 관련이 있는 분야
3. 연구 환경 및 역할
- 독립 연구 및 공동 연구 수행
- learning seminar, 정수론/산술기하학 세미나, 국내외 전문가 초청강연 및 워크숍 참여
- 학회 참가, 워크숍, 연구 방문, 공동연구 등 연구활동 경비는 예산 범위 내에서 지원 가능
- 국적 제한 없음. 한국어 능력은 필수 요건이 아니며, 연구활동은 영어로 수행 가능
4. 근무 조건
- 소속: 포항공과대학교 수학과 산술기하학 연구실
- 근무지: 포항공과대학교, 경상북도 포항시
- 모집 인원: O명
- 임용 시작일: 2026년 9월 1일, 또는 협의 가능
- 계약기간: 최초 1년
- 연장: 평가 및 연구비 상황에 따라 1년 단위로 연장 가능(현 과제 기준 최장 2029년 6월 30일까지)
- 보수: 연 4,500만 원 이상(경력 및 연구실적 등에 따라 결정) + 4대 보험 및 연금
5. 강의
- 강의 의무 없음
- 단, 학과 사정과 박사후연구원이 희망할 경우 한 학기 최대 1과목을 강의할 수 있음
- 이 경우 강의수당은 별도 지급되며, 금액은 학과 규정을 따름
