Sunghyun Henry Kim

Welcome to my Homepage!

I am Professor of Economics at Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul, Korea. I serve as Dean of College of Economics since 2021.

I taught in US for over 15 years before I moved to Korea in 2012. My research area is international macroeconomics and finance, working on issues regarding global capital flows, business cycles, monetary and fiscal policies, etc. I published more than 60 academic articles and book chapters on various theoretical and empirical issues.  

I also write newspaper articles regarding Korean economy and serve in private institutions and government in various roles.
